On Thursday, Dec. 2 — the 2010 Phoenix Center Annual U.S. Telecoms Symposium will be held here in DC, 8:30 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. at the University Club.

It looks like an interesting morning. Blair Levin, who directed the FCC National Broadband Plan effort will keynote. Other participants are FCC Commissioner Meredith Baker; an Economists Roundtable (Jerry B. Duvall-Chief Economist of FCC International Bureau, Prof. Tim Brennan-UMBC, Jonathan Baker-FCC Chief Economist, Joe Farrell-FTC Chief Economist, George Ford-Phoenix Chief Economist); and a session on Promoting Innovation, Investment and Jobs (George Ford, Paul de Sa-Chief of FCC Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis, Michael Mandel-Visible Economy & Wharton Mack Center for Technological Innovation, Phil Weiser-White House Senior Advisor for Technology and Innovation, Michael Rollins-Managing Director of Citi Investment Research & Analysis).
