New Chief Technologist at FCC
National Journal’s Tech Daily Dose is reporting that Douglas C. Sicker will be the new Chief Technologist for the FCC.
Sicker who received his Ph.D in 2001 from the University of Pittsburgh in Telecommunications had previously been employed with the FCC as Chief of the Network Technology Division. He was currently working as an associate professor and Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program Laboratory Director at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Sicker has also previously been at Level 3 Communications as Director of Global Architecture.
