Free Press and Chairman Genachowski
In a blog post yesterday after the FCC’s Title II notice of inquiry announcement, Free Press praised Commissioners’ Copps and Clybyrn as “heroes for the public in the fight for the Internet.” That’s not unusual; groups typically offer public praise to their allies. What seemed a little unusual was not who Free Press praised, but who they did not praise….or even mention.
In either their post or their press release praising the decision, Free Press never mentioned FCC Chairman Genachowski.
I guess they can scramble to say some nice things quickly, but it seems odd that, in their responses to the NOI vote, Free Press just completely ignored Chairman Genachowski. That doesn’t seem like an accidental oversight.
