An IP Question For Chairman Genachowski

By K. Daniel Glover 14 March 2010 No Comment

The FCC is set to deliver its national broadband plan to Congress on Wednesday, and YouTube will be interviewing Chairman Julius Genachowski about the plan and other topics a day before its release.

YouTube invited its users to submit questions for the interview. Digital Society submitted the following question under the “Digital Economy” section:

The administration has assigned an Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator for strategy across government. As we increasingly become an information economy, IP rights are crucial to our success. What role will the FCC play in the IP strategy?

If you want to know what role Genachowski thinks the FCC should play in the intellectual property realm, please go vote for the question. Voting ends at midnight.
