As stated in our About page, we get some of our funding from Arts+Labs (http://artsandlabs.com/), which contains a number of organizations including telecoms. However, we have a very clear agreement that the companies may not interfere with, or dictate, our activities or positions. We are completely free to take, or decline to take, any position.

Mike,

We are very open about our funding and it's been disclosed here for some time http://www.digitalsociety.org/about/ if you simply clicked on the about page.

It seems as though you are more interested in stifling debate on this subject than discussing the matter at hand and taking some kind of meaningful stance on the important questions.

In the interest of laying all cards out on the table before we debate this "openly", is digitalsociety funded by any telecom and/or cable operators? If so, which ones?
